IL PARCO E LA FORESTA IN BICICLETTA

A cycle tourist route starting and arriving at Belluno railway station. A very good training, ( the difference of level and the distance in kilometres are not within everybody's reach) and the ability to move through an area with the help of a map are required. Your luggage is to be bought with you..
The travelling times are " cyclotourists ,suitable for those who love visiting the little villages spread through the valleys, enjoying the wonderful views and with no concern about the hourly average or the pedal frequence . Considering the nature of the route an MTB would be advisable or a simple bicycle equipped with MTB gears.
The holiday lasts four days during which you can visit an area exceptional for its naturalistic and environmental wealth , riding along uncrowded streets.Above all in Cansiglio where there is one main road which crosses the plateau and most of the other routes are closed to traffic. Even by bike it is not unusual to come across some wild animals ( chamois, deer ) or by using binoculars watch the birdlife of the area.
If you just have only one week end to spend you can choose one of the routes proposed.
P.S As far as food is concerned you will find all the necessary information about the refreshment places whose availability you need to check calling at least the day before. But for those who just want a packed lunch there are a lot of shops along the route.
You can sleep in the farm holidays or in hotels but you have to book them in advance , above all if you are going to plan the route at the height of summer.
